The most famous Irish single malt whisky, Bushmills 10 Years Old, is aged partially in barrels of American oak that were containing bourbon and, another less part, in barrels of Spanish oak that were containing Sherry. It presents a golden colour and an elegant, very balanced, fine and gentle fragrance, with notes of cereals, citric (lemon) and liquorice. Then are added floral notes and notes of vanilla. In the mouth it is sweet and lightly creamy, confirming the notes of the nose. Long finish, revealing notes of wood, almonds and honey.
