Ginja
"Ginjinha", or simply "ginja", is a liqueur made from fruit maceration of ginja (Prunus Cerasus scientific name), similar to cherry, very popular in Portugal, especially in Lisbon, Obidos, Alcobaca and the Algarve.
It is customary to serve it with a leathery fruit in the cup bottom, popularly said "with them" or, when pure, "without them."
