Ferreira Vintage Ports are unique and exceptional, the ultimate exaltation of Port quality. With over 250 years of tradition of excellence, Ferreira has one of the best Vintage Port cellars in the sector, with wines dating back to 1815. Dark red color, very deep, almost opaque. Aroma of great intensity and complexity combined with admirable harmony. Highlights include floral notes of cistus and balsamic notes such as resin, heather and cedar. Spices such as pepper and a slight curry, as well as some iodized notes are also noteworthy. On the palate, it has a lively attack, with a well-marked acidity and robust, evident tannins. The red fruits, as well as the spices, come through clearly on the palate.
