Founded in London in 1737 by William Offley, initially as a wine trading house, Offley quickly began exporting wines and later producing its own Port Wine, giving the brand a worldwide recognition as a breeder of high quality wines . A turning point for his projection was the joining of Joseph James Forrester's company - later known as Baron of Forrester -, a charismatic man who played a key role in the expansion of Offley and the Port wine industry in the 19th Century.
