Founded in London in 1737 by William Offley, initially as a wine trading house, the Offley quickly began exporting wines and later producing its own Port Wine, giving the brand a worldwide recognition as a breeder of high quality wines . A turning point for his projection was the joining of Joseph James Forrester's company - later known as Baron of Forrester -, a charismatic man who played a key role in the expansion of Offley and the Port wine industry in the 19th century. Fruit of a careful selection of wines from the best Quintas do Douro, this wine aged 10 years in oak casks in the centenary Caves of the Company. Red-brown color presents a complex aroma of raisins and vanilla and has a very persistent finish. Offley 10 years is ideal to accompany nuts, sweet with eggs, chocolate or coffee. It is also an excellent appetizer and should be consumed slightly fresh.
