Wine of the Region of the Douro. The Cálem 3 Velhotes is a sweet, blondish red wine, made from a careful selection of the best tawnies and aged in the wine-cellars in Vila Nova de Gaia. It has a fragrance of ripe fruit (redcurrant and orange), with orange tones and an intense brilliance. The taste is elegant and round. This wine can be in bottle up to 3 years. It is the best to accompany sweets. Excellent if served fresh with fruit salad, cake of chocolate and creamy cheeses. Harmonious, fresh and persistent end.
