Every year, the launch of a new Legado evokes the passage of time in the history of a Sogrape that has always been a dreamer. Each vintage celebrates the Douro at its best, exalting experience and life. Because in a tribute to the past, this is a wine of the present, which Fernando Guedes conceived to create the future. History has been repeating itself since 2008, but it cannot be said enough. Fernando Guedes, President of Sogrape at the time, had long dreamed of a wine capable of expressing the knowledge, passion and values of a family business, which has a special place in the Douro region, and of paying homage to the passing on of this valuable testimony to future generations, who would one day take the helm of the company.
