Porto Ferreira Vintage 2018 com caixa de madeira
Porto Ferreira Vintage 2018 is a port wine with a deep, almost opaque color and well-integrated acidity, full-bodied and with great harmony.
Quinta da Leda Tinto
It has a ruby color of good intensity. The aroma is intense and complex, with notes of red and black fruits, balsamic, resin and cedar. There are slight menthol and spicy notes, a slight cocoa and chocolate, the result of good maturation and a discreet wood that is very well integrated. On the palate, it has excellent volume, well-integrated acidity, good quality tannins, well-present red and black fruits, a slight shrubby note and a long, harmonious finish.
Quinta da Leda is a surprising wine that can be enhanced if it is opened well in advance. Ideally the bottle should be opened 1 hour before serving. If you are serving a Quinta da Leda that is more than 5 years old, you should decant it.
Valle Pradinhos Reserva Tinto
Intense and elegant with excellent complexity. Very ripe red and black forest fruits stand out, well combined with light floral notes that add elegance. Spices such as vanilla and pepper enhance the aroma. Very soft attack. Full-bodied wine with fine, silky tannins that are well enveloped by the fruit and give it a good structure. Persistent finish. Terroir wine.
Quinta do Espírito Santo Reserva Tinto
The dark, intense ruby color immediately shows its immense richness, together with the aromas of ripe blackberry, dark chocolate and fruit that exude from the glass. On tasting, it has a rich, enveloping and smooth character. Then its structure and multiple layers of flavors reveal themselves, with notes of ripe wild fruit, cinnamon, raisins, figs, vanilla and dark chocolate. Overall, it's a complex, balanced and round wine, partly thanks to its ageing in Portuguese, French and American oak barrels. This wine could be an excellent accompaniment to roast or grilled meat, duck dishes, stews, game and strong cheeses.
